The process of expanding the coverage of the non-cash payment system in the route network of Baku continues. Noting the importance of the transition to a non-cash settlement system in terms of improving the quality of passenger service, we note that integration with BakuCard is also important in terms of formalizing illegal labor relations and increasing transparency. The system of non-cash payments, which is important in terms of solving such important issues as the safety of passenger transportation, also has a positive impact on structural and qualitative changes in the development of entrepreneurship in this sector.

 

From July 16, 2021, the fare for buses on route No. 62 (Sabunchi St. - N. Tusi St.) will be paid through the "BakuCard".

It should be noted that to ensure the comfort of passengers, POS terminals are installed in OBA stores in the Khatai district at 32 Naples, st. N. Tusi 137, N. Tusi 294Q, st. S.A. Shirvani, Sabunchi district Asildar Mammadaliev 76, Kishvari Dilmagani 11, Sabunchu village, Gara Garayev avenue, Nizami district.

In accordance with the instructions of the President, important steps have been taken in this direction over the past five years. 58% of buses operating in the route network of the capital are integrated into the cashless payment system. At present, about 780,000 passengers (42% of the total number of passengers) use the services of the non-cash payment system every day.

In accordance with the workflow, other routes will be gradually integrated into the cashless payment system. This will be announced in advance.
