In accordance with the decree of the head of state, new buses were put into operation to bring public transport services in Baku in accordance with the highest international standards for both safety and quality.

Some 12-meter BMC Procity buses, which are safe, comfortable, environmentally friendly and comply with Euro 6 standards, will be available to passengers on regular route number 125 starting on 11/30/2019. In this regard, the regular bus route scheme No. 125 has been changed. Buses on this line of the route will pass through the Lokbatan settlement to the metro station "May 28." Thus, a direct connection was provided between the city center and the Lokbatan settlement with a population of more than 123,000 people. Payment for travel along the route will be made non-cash using BakuCard. Terminals are installed on the territory of the settlement so that it is easier for passengers to get “BakuCard” and replenish the balance on the card.

An event was held in Lokbatan in connection with innovations on the route line. New buses were presented to the residents of Lokbatan at the "International Dialogue for the Environment" event, organized by the Baku Transport Agency in conjunction with the IDEA Public Association. Residents received the long-awaited news from students of a special boarding school No. 9 for children with disabilities. The arrival of new buses was greeted with a festive mood. Residents gathered in the square in front of Heydar Aliyev Park, saying that the latest innovations in public transport are important for the convenience of citizens. They noted that all this was due to the care and attention of the head of state.

Within the framework of the event, a tour to the Animal Care Center was organized for children with disabilities of boarding school No. 9. Children were introduced to the activities of the center, and also received information about the rules of the road. In addition, volunteers of the Baku Transport Agency took part in the event.

Given the changes in route number 125, we ask citizens to use public transport in this direction. Thus, due to a landslide, traffic density in the Bibiheybat-20 area increased. Citizens will help increase traffic in the area using public transportation rather than private.
